Mplus+ Nepal Donations

over 2 years ago • Community Manager

After the devastating earthquake that took place in Nepal on Saturday 25th April 2015, MPLUS+ as a company wanted to help. Combined MPLUS+ and Emrill Services have over 600 Nepalese employees and it’s incredibly important that we can show our support in any which way we can. In collaboration with Emrill Services we held an internal non-financial collection point for donations including tents, clothing, blankets, dry foods and first aid kits. As an extension of this we decided to reach out to our MPLUS+ customers to assist them in their donations offering them our services to collect and donate on their behalf. We held the Nepal Appeal for 8 days and collected an incredible 25 tonnes of non-financial donations. The UAE Residents and employees of MPLUS+ and Emrill have been so generous in this time of need for our Nepalese neighbours. Once everything had been collected we delivered all items to the UAE Red Crescent in Al Rashidiya on Tuesday 12th May 2015. On behalf of MPLUS+ and Emrill thank you for all your donations it has been an overwhelming experience and we’ve been delighted to have been of service to our Nepalese neighbours and our communities.”
